Located on the southern border of the South Downs National Park, the Black Rabbit is one of the most famous pubs in England. Owned for centuries by the Duke of Norfolk’s family, this glorious pub provides stunning views across the River Arun and the wetlands beyond, to Arundel Castle – arguably one of the loveliest views in England.

With plenty of riverside seating, the pub is a hive of activity in summer and when winter finally sets in, the traditional interior (featuring authentic props from the Harry Potter movies, including the boat from ‘The Philosopher’s Stone’) provides a cosy bolt-hole to relax and unwind.
